HoDown! Yeehaw!

Emma's school had a huge HoDown fundraiser and the kids had a BLAST!

Happy Easter!

This year we bought a great book called The Christ Centered Easter. Starting on Palm Sunday and all the week before Easter we taught the kids lessons about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It really made Easter all the more special because through the lessons we all had all gained a renewed testimony of Him and His love and sacrifice for us. This is a tradition I think we'll keep!

The Training Wheels Are Off!

Yep, that's right, Emma is now officially a two wheeling bicyclist! One morning she came in and said, "Dad, I'm ready to take off my training wheels." Well he did and on the very first try she sped away down the street. That was easy!

April Disneyland Trip

Every year one of our fun traditions as a family is to go to Disneyland for a few days. This year was awesome because Noah was tall enough to go on every ride except for Indiana Jones. He is our little daredevil and we all had a BLAST!
Emma was picked to participate in the Jedi Training Academy and got to fight Darth Maul and really got into it. While the other children were a little timid, she whacked away at him, GO EMMA! Although Noah didn't get picked he sure had fun using "the force."

After Disneyland we visited Jason's Grandma Cindy for a few days. The kids love visiting their "Disneyland Grandma" or "Avocado Grandma" (they like to name their grandmas dependant on an activity that they've done with them. Cindy lives by Disneyland and has a huge avocado tree in her front yard that the kids love to pick from and eat. We also got to go out to dinner with Great Great Grandma Marie and the kids loved that! Emma thinks it's sooo cool to have a Great Great Grandma.
