Emma is going to be in a tap dance performance soon and went to the studio to get her pictures taken today. She is soooo cute! Here is her transformation.

Grandma's Birthday Cake!

So... it was recently my mom's birthday and the kids were dying to make her a cake. I asked her what they wanted to make and Emma explained to me how Grandma didn't seem to like birthday's because she got older... (that is a hard concept for Emma to understand since getting older sounds great her her). So Emma and Noah designed a cake to make Grandma feel like a kid again! Here is the finished product, a happy birthday monster! Happy Birthday Grandma!

Sick Summer

A wave of sickness has washed through our home, yet again! I think it's about over though, whew! Noah had the flu for about a week and a half and couldn't eat anthing. He was pretty weak and tired and we'd find him sleeping in the weirdest places! He is holding down food now. Emma only had a high fever for one night, but it broke and she felt fine ever since. Jason came home sick 2 days in a row, but thankfully is feeling better. I'm the only one that made it through, cross my fingers.

Now that the family is feeling better we have been trying to get out and enjoy the sunshine before it gets too hot. Our pool has been sitting between 82 and 88 degrees so we've been enjoying swimming. We've been trying to get to the park more often too. Emma is interested in trying soccer in the fall and Jason and Noah are more than happy to practice with her!
